The Mimosa Haiku PageWhile I am not a student of Haiku I do enjoy the form. I do not consider myself a writer or a poet, but the 5-7-5 syllable rule of Haiku provides a safety in trying to express my observations and feelings in a poetic form; sort of like poetry training wheels. Why are my poems here? Because I have a lovely, ever supportive husband with his own web site or perhaps these attempts will inspire someone else to take up Haiku; and besides, what else is the internet for, anyway? Cheers! I hope you enjoy them. Lela Szondy |
