Homo sapiens has got to be the most underachieving species in the history of the planet.  Oh, sure, we're always going on about how we have the power to destroy ourselves with our nuclear arsenals, but have ever managed it?  No!  We talk big about Armageddon, but when it comes to delivering the goods, we keep opting to preserve civilisation.  And it's not like we haven't had men of vision who have shown us the golden path to self-extermination via nuclear fire and fallout.  We have the means.  All we lack is the will!

C'mon, mankind!  Put up or shut up!
