When you read foreign web pages do you rely on
Babelfish or perhaps Google for the translation? When you travel abroad
do you fumble with phrase books? Try to figure out the buttons on
those weedy little electronic translators? Or do you fall back
on the old reliable method of assuming that the waiter is deaf and
shout a lot?
C'mon! This is the 21st century!
You need a translator machine as big as a marine diesel engine and
festooned with all sorts of cams, rods, drums, and flywheels, a speaking tube the
size of a fire hose and, of course, a huge
control knob.
