Futurama II was, of
course, a General Motors exhibit, so what do you expect to see?
Motor cars! Thing is, there's only so much you can do with a
car, unless you include necking at the drive-in, so the motorways
with their computer controlled traffic systems seem little more than a
faint echo of the radio system that the original Futurama promised.
Still, it does show the service island, complete with burger bar and
gift shop so familiar to hitchhikers who discovered that they were
stranded there without a means of escape for a day and a half.
