At Eurosec, security is our
number one concern. Forget pat downs, metal detectors and taking
off your shoes. We fluoroscope the entire body every time.
We do tend to lose a lot of our top men to radiation burns, leukemia
and various immunosuppressant syndromes, but you can't be too careful.
The
thing is, these giant fluoroscopes are not cheap to purchase and
maintain, so we have to cut corners somewhere. Therefore, since
we can't afford to x-ray or otherwise examine your personal
belongings, we settle for just photographing them.
But we photograph them not
once, but twice! On the same piece of paper!

I'm
not sure which is a bigger dent to my confidence in Eurosec security;
the thick, plastic security passes that look like they came from an
AT&T automatic dialing phone circa 1962, or that the guard needs
no less than two arrows to show him where the large, obvious slot in
the reader panel is.
