Okay, so the future was supposed to be inherited by
a load of supermen. Got it. But where are these
übermensch supposed come from? Are
we supposed to wait around until evolution throws them up at us?
Not necessarily. Mankind, being an impatient lot was figuring
out how to create a superman almost as fast as the idea started to gel
in Nietzsche's mad little brain. It was, after all, a reasonable
sort of goal. If God could do it in one day, how hard could it
be? In fact, man would do the Almighty one better by creating
something greater than himself.
What's the harm in that? |
