Computers... of the FUTURE!
Moonbase 3 boasts state of the art desktop
computers with tiny black and white monitor screens set at an
elevation and angle so sub-optimum that it had to be the result of a
conscious decision by some sadistic design engineer.
Given that the monitor runs to about eight lines of
very large characters, we can deduce that the computer behind it must
boast a massive memory of two kilobytes and a processor speed
exceeding 1.5 MHz.
Clearly, with this kind of technology on the loose,
2003 is the year when the machines will be poised to displace man as
the pinnacle of Creation.
