The Time Travelers (1964) was one of those underappreciated
'60s B-picture sci-fi epics that revelled in taking us on a tour of
the wonders of the FUTURE.
One of these was a 22nd century musical
instrument called the Lumichord that was apparently played by having
half-naked women bent on seduction gyrating in front of it while
waving their hands over the huge keys. Meanwhile, multi-coloured
lights would flash on a screen in a way that was not meant to
suggest a couple of stagehands standing behind it waving hand lamps, but did
anyway. |
