Is it just me or do the fuel tanks on the moonship look like a couple of 35 mm film canisters crudely welded together?  And isn't that a doorknob welded onto bits of Meccano? 

The Amazing World of Tomorrow!  Cheap, but still amazing.

Take a good look at this control panel.  Take a good look because you're going to be seeing a lot of it.  Every time the director wanted to pad the story he'd cut back to this panel (often in freeze frame) with an voiceover of such great lines as "You must get back, Bill!  You must!"

Bill, meantime, is slogging across the Lunar surface as his air runs out muttering, "No *#@^, Sherlock!"
