The Men Who Plan Beyond Tomorrow campaign had some good innings, but after a few years TMWPBT got a bit tired and started to plan beyond lunchtime.  Instead of rocketships and atomic farms, they started predicting things like colour film, which isn't all that futurey if you've already got it on the shelves.

Radio controlled lifeboats.

I have no idea what they're supposed to do when they get there.

And finally, plastic-coated fresh flowers.

Pass the soda, please.
